Three brand new Sunshine Polishing Cloths.
I wanted to offer these cloths to you because I have been so happy with them myself. They make fast work of polishing jewelry, and I have used them for other silver and metal pieces, too, and they work just as well. The result is a mirror-like finish with very little effort.
Each cloth is a 7-3/4"x5" chamois style cloth that has been impregnated with a microabrasive powder material that acts as the polishing agent. Over time the cloth will start to look grey, and then black, as it takes off the tarnish. You can use these until they are literally jet-black and tattered! When you are totally done, just throw it out. When I start with a new cloth, I cut it in half, because for me it is an easier size to work with.
A hint about Sterling Silver. Exposure to air and lack of use make the conditions perfect for tarnishing. For Sterling jewelry, wear it often, and this will not only give it a beautiful patina, but it will also minimize tarnishing. When you are not wearing your silver, store it in the baggie and lock out the air.
One more important hint - Sterling Silver, stainless steel and some common cleaning agents combined together can create a chemical reaction that can result in the discoloration of sterling silver. If this happens, rinse quickly with fresh water, dry well and use the cloths to repolish your piece. Please do not wear Sterling if you are washing dishes in a stainless steel sink, and please never put your Sterling silverware or serving pieces in your dishwasher - especially if there are stainless pieces in the same washload, or if the inside of your dishwasher is stainless steel. It's best to always clean Sterling separately, carefully and gently so it will last for generations.
You will receive an instruction card with your cloths.
